A member of secret brotherhood?

When searching different events, which could bring Plečnik close to everyone, I found myself in the middle of misterious story about the Secret Brotherhood of Kazamate, who is protecting ancient knowledge, and had the key to harmony, prosperity and happiness.

The secret is locked into the Dragon Code. And the last member of that brotherhood is said to be the famous Slovenian architect. Dragon Code is a city adventure that takes us into the world of imagination and symbolism and is closely connected to the work and symbolism of Jože Plečnik. "The tour is not traditional tourist sightseeing of Ljubljana, it encompasses the knowledge about our capital, group dynamics and emperical learning" explained Barbara Babnik and Jošt Teran from the Slovenian Outdoor Learning Institute (www.solinstitut.com), who created that unique tour two years ago. Everything is planned precisely and thoughtfully, the same as Plečnik's masterpieces. Suddenly, I wasn't only the spectator but the real protagonist, when looking for his share in that story and for the keys of the brotherhood, hidden in buildings and statues he planned. "He was very exact, very economic, good pedagogue, almost ascetic in his way of life, never married, but as he had said, the arcitecture was his bride" told Barbara and Jošt, who are surprised at the reactions of people, once they finish the tour. "It is unbelivable how they respond. You wake the child in them. They learn and remember a lot and at the end they all have something in common".

Maybe a little bit suspicious at the beginning, but enriched for the new knowledge about Plečnik's symbolism, proportionality, influences of mythology, and different phases of his life at the end of the tour. Discovering Plečnik in Ljubljana is definitely a story for itself, without one-sided end. After visiting some of Plečnik's most famous buildings in central Ljubljana, I got many answers, but even more questions. Does the brotherhood really exist? Was Plečnik really its member' It would be great to find the answers by asking Jože Plečnik himself. But would he really give the exact answers? Probably not, as they are precisely and skillfully threaded into his work. To find your own trouth you will have to search for the keys yourself. However, something is obvious. Thanks to all the events and marks in the Plečnik's year our look will be much less often fixed on the ground while walking between the buildings...
